The first Digital Aquarium Advisory Group meeting was held this week with Professor Leon Sterling from Digital Frontiers chairing the meeting.
Also present were members from Learning Transformations, Information Technology Services, Faculty of Business and Enterprise, Faculty of Health, Arts and Design, Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology.
Apart from discussing the purpose of the Digial Aquarium, which was to enable innovation and provide exposure to new technology, there was also acknowledgement that in order for Swinburne to be a leader in innovation, then the teaching would also need to be different.
It was also great to see the enthusiasm for innovation and technology. Enthusiasm can be contagious and I'm sure that would translate into the teaching as well.
